Toyota and its luxury Lexus version have always been keen on safety systems. Since introducing
basic versions of safety systems such as front-end collision warning years ago, Toyota has led its competition in introducing these systems as standard equipment in its vehicles and Lexus has noted some information that will give many buyers peace of mind.

Lexus announced on Wednesday that it will introduce the Lexus Safety Plus in its cars, a range of passive and positive safety systems as standard equipment for all 2020 model vehicles. This news is all the more important than reports from the NHTSA, which reported that there were about 6.5 million reported incidents in 2017, many of which could have been avoided.
"We're working to prevent accidents before they happen, which is why we've developed some of the most advanced safety features on the road today, and now these systems will be standard equipment in every model we sell," said David Crest, General Manager of Lexus.
The Safety System (Lexus Cefty Plus) consists of four separate technologies:
* Forward Collision Warning System: Capable of detecting pedestrians, if the driver ignores this warning, the car is able to brake on its own.
* Lane Departure Warning System: This system uses a camera, audible warnings and feedback to alert the driver when the vehicle is too far from the middle of the lane.
* Adaptive speed stability control system: This system uses both radar and cameras to match the speed of your cars with the vehicle in front of you.
* High light control system: Automatic sensors are used to keep the high lights on until upcoming traffic is detected and the lights are automatically reduced.
This hot news follows the latest appearance of the Lexus "GX 460 SUV" for 2020. Equipped with a "V8" engine under the hood and a new technology designed to make off-road easier, the UTE was one of the latest Lexus models that does not include the Lexus Cefti Plus system, but that has changed with the introduction of the updated 2020 models.
